Dr. Kenneth E. Frick and Dr. David W. Jones are periodontists (dentists) who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease as well as in the placement of dental implants which can replace one or more missing teeth. The entire staff is dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality periodontal care utilizing the most up-to-date treatment methods available including the Dental Endoscope, which is ideal for those patients with limited periodontal disease and is less invasive than surgery. Our facility is the first in the area to offer this procedure.

A patient will often have a referral to our office from their general family dentist. However, you don't need a referral to see a periodontist. In fact, there are occasions when you may choose to go directly to a periodontist if you notice some of the following symptoms:

	Gums that bleed easily, especially during brushing or flossing.
	Red, swollen or tender gums.
	Areas where the gum tissue has pulled away from the tooth.
	Pus between the tooth and gums.
	Loose or separating teeth.
	A change in the way your teeth fit together when you bite.

The majority of patients with periodontal disease do not experience pain.

The periodontist can enhance your smile by numerous techniques. Covering exposed root surfaces of teeth, re-growing lost bone, correcting ridge deformities, and correcting gum disharmonies can contribute to a winning smile.

Dental implants might be the answer if you have lost some or all of your teeth. The specialty of periodontics includes dental implant treatment. There are many advantages of dental implant treatment.
